Services Provided: Civil Engineering Construction
Scope: Construction of tank bases, drainage systems, concrete slabs and equipment plinths, a new access road and perimeter fencing.
Built on a green field site adjacent to the Dairy’s existing food processing facility and completed within the agreed 11 week programme.
Other Aspects: This project is the first of a government initiative to utilise the Anaerobic Digestion process in the treatment of waste materials. This is the first treatment plant to be part funded by Defra, and could lead on to potentially hundreds of similar schemes in the UK.
