Scope: The construction of a new substation compound. Our works comprised of cut and fill earthworks, RC foundations, drainage , screw pile foundations to structures, a brick switch house and security fencing.
Excavation, stone capping layer, stone sub-base, kerbs and bituminous surfacing. Drainage including piled earthworks support and interceptor tanks. HV & LV ducting, plus ducting for water & BT connections.
Unusual aspects: Collaboration with the client to deal with design changes to suit planning conditions and lease agreement requirements. Accelerated working to meet the required end user completion date. Including overlapping the HV installation works
