John started his professional career with Lehane McKenzie & Shand in 1978 after completing his degree in Civil Engineering at Manchester University. His work was mainly focused around roads and bridges within the Yorkshire area. In 1984 John became a charted civil engineer, and in the same year he moved south to Nottingham to join Bagguley & Barker Contractors who carried out contracts for clients such as Severn Trent Water, British Coal and Nottingham County Council.

He joined Alpha Construction Ltd in 2000 and has successfully managed a variety of contracts within the civil engineering sector. John has a passion for the challenge that civil engineering brings and looks forward to making your requirements his goal.
