Quality System to ISO 9001:2000

An internationally recognised standard for quality, offering reassurance that Alpha are fully committed to quality by continuously undergoing scrutiny by an accredited 3rd party auditor (BM Trada Certification Ltd).

Environmental System to ISO 14001:2004

A universally recognised environmental standard based on the ISO9000 quality management principals. Again registered with an accredited 3rd party auditor (BM Trada Certification Ltd).

Occupational Health and Safety to OHSAS 18001

Whilst not replacing any legal H&S obligations, the disciplines of the standard and the benefits of 3rd party audits can make a significant contribution in accident reduction. Registered with BM Trada Certificate Ltd.

SAFEcontractor Helath and Safety Standards

A major initiative  which works to benefit both client and contractor. Under current legislation a client has an obligation to ensure the safety of contractors working on their site. Registered with National Britannia Ltd.

Investors in People

A business improvement tool designed to advance an organisation’s performance through the management and development of their people. Awarded 5th Feb 2005 by the East Midlands Regional Recognition Panel.

Civil Engineering Contractors Association

Alpha have been an active member of the trade organisation from its conception. CECA promotes the positive contribution that the civil engineering industry makes to the nation.

Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme

Local authority health and safety and procurement professionals, with the support of the Health and Safety Executive, have developed the Contractor Health and Safety assessment scheme (CHAS). It provides information about the health and safety of an organization and provides this information to any interested Public of Private organization.
